Business Licenses and Fees

Requirements

A business run out of a commercial property does not require a Business License, as this is already paid through commercial property tax. Out-of-town contractors and home-based businesses do require a license to conduct business in Rosetown.

Business Licence

A Business Licence is required for businesses not located in Rosetown but who conduct business here (i.e. a Saskatoon general contractor). The fee for a business licence is $100/job or $300/year.

Home-Based Business Licence

A Home-Based Business Licence is required for a business classified as either working out of a residential property or any business without a commercial business location in town. The fee for a home-based business licence is $200/year.

Application

A completed Business License Form can be mailed or dropped off with payment to the Town Office. For more information on business licenses, contact businessrosetown@sasktel.net.
