Medical Office Assistant –Part-Time
The Town of Rosetown is seeking highly motivated, responsible individual(s) for the position of Medical Office Assistant for the Rosetown & District Primary Care Centre. This position requires an energetic team player with strong public relations, organizational and management skills, computer literacy, willingness to learn, excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Reporting to and under the direction of the Medical Office Manager this position is responsible to:
- Coordinate patient care through the clinic – waiting room, exam room and all Clinic services;
- Provide administrative support to Practitioners: reception, data entry, records maintenance and correspondence;
- Deliver exceptional customer / patient service;
- Maintain strong positive relationship with internal and external healthcare practitioners, suppliers and customers / patients.
This position works Monday to Friday as scheduled. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a community-based facility, providing medical services in a Primary Health Care model. A complete job description is available upon request.
