I arrived in Rosetown in the summer of 1991 as a young, single, United Church Minister from Alberta. Since then, I have made this my home even though I only worked for the church for 10 years of that time. I have also taught the Independent Education class for Rosetown Central High School for about 12 years. I have a husband of 27 years and raised our son who also lives in Rosetown, along with 2 older stepsons, 3 grandchildren, and many good friends. We love to camp and garden in the summers and keep ourselves busy with family, friends and projects the rest of the year. I am involved in local art and drama and am currently serving on the Rosetown Theatre Board. I am also involved in the United Church both locally and in the larger district. At present, I am retired but still substitute teach and occasionally lead worship. My main focus in retiring (besides grandchildren) is writing which has been a side interest for many years. I am thankful for this new opportunity to serve on our Rosetown Council and will work as part of the Council team to make this town a good, fair, and welcoming place to live.
