The Town's Public Works staff will be doing sewer main camera inspections over the next weeks.
They will be starting with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenues.
They will not need to access your personal properties as these inspections will take place in the manholes under the street.
When they are working on your street, you may see them flushing lines. This may cause a slight discoloration to the water, just let the cold tap run to clear it out of your house lines. If the floor drain in your basement dries up a little, you may notice a sewer smell in the house. Pour a few jugs of water down the drain to get rid of it.
