  • According to the Traffic Bylaw, “(i) No person shall leave a trailer or semi-trailer parked on a street that is unattached from the vehicle used for moving the same, excepting town-owned equipment. (ii) Privately owned and properly licensed recreation camper trailers may be parked on the street in residential areas in contravention of subsection (i) from April 1 to October 31 of each year provided that they are parked adjacent to the owner's property and for a period of time not to exceed 72 consecutive hours.

  • No person shall operate a snowmobile in the following locations in and around Rosetown:

    - School Grounds        - Rosetown Cemetery     - Rosetown Nuisance Grounds     - Lagoon      - Drainage Ditch     - Park Areas

     Provincial Highways are also restricted in many cases.

  • A business run out of a commercial property does not need to purchase a Town of Rosetown business license. Home-based businesses (businesses working out of a residential property) and any business without a standard business location in town (i.e. contractor) is required to have a Business License from the Town of Rosetown.

  • Follow the directions outlined on the notice you received. If payment of a fine is required by a specific date, payment can be made at the Town Office located at 417 Main Street. Failure to make payment may result in legal action.

  • Commercial properties on Main Street and adjoining side-streets are required to have their sidewalks cleared of snow in the winter. 

    While we ask that residents maintain the clearing of their sidewalk, it is not mandatory, as Town residential street cleaning pushes the snow from the streets onto the boulevards and sidewalks.
