A business run out of a commercial property does not need a business licence.
A home-based business licence is required for a business classified as either working out of a residential property or any business without a standard business location in town. The fee for a home-based business licence is $200 per year.
A business licence is only required for businesses not located in Rosetown but doing business in Rosetown (i.e. a Saskatoon general contractor). The fee for a business licence is $100 per job or $300 per year.
A completed Business License Form (PDF) can be mailed or dropped off with payment to the Town Office. For more information on business licenses, contact the Town Office.
If your business holds an active business license with the Town, you operate out of a business or commercial space within Town limits, or you hold a current Chamber Membership (for business located outside of Rosetown), you're eligible to be featured in our Business Directory. To be added, contact the Town Office.
