Garbage Pick-up
The Town of Rosetown is switching to front-street waste collection effective April 23, 2018 until further notice. Residents are encouraged to place their garbage bags in receptacles at either the end of their driveway or on their curb prior to 7:00 a.m. on the day of their scheduled garbage pick-up.
The change from back-alley to front-street pick-up is made annually in the spring to prevent damage to the back-alleys.
For details, visit the Garbage Collection page.
A note that bag tags for Rosetown's Tag-a-Bag program are now $2.00 per tag and continue to be available for purchase at the Town Office.
Compost (Organics) Pick-up
Effective May 1, we will resume bi-weekly (Tuesday) curb-side pick-up of your dark green compost bin on the day designated for your area.
There are two zones:
Red Zone (north of 6th avenue): pick-up begins May 1
Blue Zone (south of 6th avenue): pick-up begins May 8.
Please ensure you have your cart out by 7:00 am and have it placed wheels to the curb and at least 4’ away from vehicles or
obstructions.
